The KPIs Organization Team was formed in an effort to inform, assist and further involve all departments in the proper identification and consequent monitoring of their respective KPIs. Each team member is responsible to organize each department’s employees in order to collect relevant data and produce KPIs. Our target is to involve all Company’s personnel in future action plans and various projects.

Self Assessment (SA) is a process whereby an employee evaluates him/herself in various skills ranging from communication and self-motivation to satisfaction at work, initiative and etc. The purpose of SA is to promote the company’s interest in proper management of its human resources and to encourage communication and team work between employees and departments.

Respect for People is a very important driver for EST who is striving to provide the necessary conditions for the full involvement of all personnel by identifying employees’ needs and expectations, both ashore and on board the vessels. The organization understands that healthy, happy, well trained and motivated ashore employees and mariners are essential to the safe running of the organization and the fleet. Employees’ competence and awareness as well as their needs and expectations for recognition and development are identified through this procedure and results are discussed for further action

The 3rd Party Opinion Surveys is a valuable tool for the identification of the Company’s stakeholders’ needs and expectations. Through the 3rd Party Opinion survey the company identifies customers’, Suppliers’ and 3rd party expectations and new strategic approaches and targets are set.

The EST Newsletter was launched in March 2007 and has been released monthly ever since, delivering to all Fleet and 3rd Party Organizations news relevant to Enterprises, various marine advisories, safety & security issues, marine news and global / sports news from seafarers’ countries of origin. Numerous favorable critics have been received throughout this time from shore based and seagoing employees, who have embraced this project and proven their support. The editing team is responsible for collecting all relevant information and including same in the monthly issues of EST Newsletter.
