  • EST receives the ISO 50001 certificate for implementing an energy management system (2012).
  • EST has assessed, evaluated and validated its system against the International Standard ISO 26000 which is the first Global Standard on Social Responsibility. (2014) EST S.A. is the first shipping company in Greece that has assessed its performance against the International Standard ISO 26000.
  • EST receives the HACCP Certificate of Compliance (2014) for implementing a food safety management system onboard the vessels.
  • Twenty vessels (20) of the fleet were recognized and rewarded with the “QUALSHIP 21” certificate by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) (2017). Less than ten percent of all foreign-flagged ships that operate in the United States meet the eligibility requirements of the “QUALSHIP 21” program.
  • EST receives the “GOLD RESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE” Award by the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN) (2017). EST participates for a decade in the EBEN Award Program which is dedicated wholly to the promotion of business ethics in Europe.
  • EST was awarded with the “Green Award” Certificate in 2018. “Green Award” certifies ships that are extra clean and extra safe with high standards of performance in relation to environmental protection and safety operation that go beyond regulatory requirements.
  • In 2018, EST received the ISO 27001 certificate for implementing an “Information and Cyber Security Management System” within the office and onboard the vessels.
